- Boat Names
Our collection of over 5,000 boat name pictures are now included. These are located in a new Search section which is available from a new item on the Menu Bar.
- Year Maps
The waterways maps have been completely re-drawn. The changes made are:
- To overcome the problem of our cruising information shown on the map obliterating the map information there is now a separate map for each year that the waterway was cruised.
- Also included is a map for each waterway with no added cruising information.
- Navigating Maps
- Use the 'Select Year' drop down box and select a year, or the blank entry for the basic map, and then click the 'Select Year' button to move from one year to another.
- The arrow marker used to navigate to the adjacent map now also shows the date we cruised that link.
- A diamond is shown in place of the arrow marker if we did not cruise the marked link.
- Map Symbols
- The activity boxes are blank instead of showing the year no. No year number is now required as the map displayed is for a specific year.
- The colour used to show two of the activities has been changed. Winding is shown as orange and winter/long term mooring is shown as grey.
- The way craning is shown is now with only one colour. This is blue. The activity box has a link to the other map.
- Map Help
- The map help pages have been revised in line with the above changes. The revised Symbols page. The revised Info page.
- The map section of the intro pages has also been changed.
- Junctions
In line with the changes made to the maps the junction pages have also been changed.
- The list of moves are for just that year.
- Only the junctions cruised are listed.
.
- Year Summaries
- On the summary page the map links go to the year specific map.
- On the map page the 'summary' link goes to the summary page for that year.
